Solegaze Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Solegaze.

Solegaze is a mobile application designed to help runners track the mileage, wear, and usage of their running shoes.

By accessing or using the Solegaze application (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use Solegaze, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old

• Provide accurate account information

• Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Use of the Service

Solegaze allows users to:

• Track running shoe mileage

• Associate running activities with specific shoes

• Monitor wear and usage statistics

• Receive notifications related to shoe wear or activity assignment

Some features rely on data provided through Apple Health if you choose to grant access.

You remain responsible for how you interpret and use the information provided by the Service.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes

• Attempt to interfere with the operation of the application

• Reverse engineer or attempt to access restricted parts of the Service

• Use the Service in a way that could damage or disrupt the platform

Solegaze reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Health and Fitness Disclaimer

Solegaze provides tools for tracking running activity and shoe usage.

The Service does not provide medical advice and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical guidance.

You are responsible for managing your own training, health, and safety when running.

6. Purchases

Solegaze may offer a one-time purchase to unlock additional features.

Billing

• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store.

• Charges are billed to your Apple account.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.

Solegaze does not directly process payments.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software associated with Solegaze are the property of Solegaze.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the Service without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Solegaze may rely on third-party services to operate, including:

• Apple Health

• Apple Sign In

• Supabase (authentication and database)

• Analytics and crash reporting services

These services operate according to their own terms and policies.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if users violate these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

Solegaze is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solegaze is not responsible for:

• Errors in activity tracking

• Data inaccuracies originating from third-party services

• Training decisions made by users

• Temporary service interruptions

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
